They worked with Trevor Ciona and Curtis Elmy of Atmosphere Interior Design. It was decided they would strip the 2,400 square foot bungalow down to the studs and reinvent the mid-century modern home into the future.
The homeowners spared no expense on the upgrades, including replacing the home’s heating and mechanical systems and electrical, upgrading the insulation and opting for a new stucco and stone exterior.

What We Think:
We think bungalows are making a huge comeback. There are more and more people rightsizing in this economy. There are less people looking for two storeys and 4 storey split levels and bungalows are back. Bungalows are great for people worried about mobility. Bungalows are great for people with children as everyone is on the same level.
Bungalows are also scares in the new neighbourhoods because lot sizes are too small. That’s why we think this home and this neighbourhood have it all.
